Hello!

We are Caroline and Neil – a British couple / two travel bloggers who are obsessed with Taiwan!

We met whilst working together at a UK travel agency called STA Travel, creating marketing campaigns at their head office in London. Neil has a background in marketing and Caroline has a background in graphic design.

We started writing our own travel articles in 2016 and we founded the Taiwanderers brand in 2020.

Taiwanderers is one of four travel guide websites we own. We also run a generic travel website called cktravels.com, plus destination websites for South Korea (southkoreahallyu.com) and Japan (planmyjapan.com).

We also own and run one of the biggest and most engaged Taiwan Facebook groups with over 180,000 members – Taiwan Travel Tips (TTT), and have recently designed and written our first eBook – Taipei For Kids.

These days we divide our time between the UK and Asia, working on creating fun and engaging blog posts, photography and video content aimed at like-minded ‘care-free’ travellers.

If you are looking to promote a destination or product/business, then we would love to work with you to increase awareness through our website and social media channels.

How can we work together?

  • Brand ambassadorships
  • Press trips
  • Social media campaigns
  • Product review blogs
  • Contests and giveaways
  • Sponsored posts and advertising

“A netizens found a website set up by 2 British bloggers who love Taiwan.

It talks about Taiwan’s tourist attractions and food which include transportation guides and even guides on 1-3 day tours. Netizens endorsed this and find it super helpful and well thought out.

‘Done a better job than Taiwanese locals (as in exploring Taiwan and sightseeing)’

(Brief intro about lion dance)
Lion dance, as part of the traditions in Taiwan, is performed as one of the ways to celebrate lunar new year.

These 2 bloggers who love Taiwan persistently share their experience in Taiwan and even made a website for it.

‘How to organise your day tour in Taipei? The foreign bloggers in Taiwan made a website that introduces taiwans food and tourist attractions, and they even organised the routes for you!’

Clicking into Taiwanderers website it’s all in English the layout is neat and clear…including must-sees, most recent cultural events and local foods you must try. This is a guide made by British bloggers Caroline and Neil.

Those who saw all spoke highly of it for its great attention to details and said they knew better than Taiwanese people.

‘Very attentive and cool. After all they’re foreigners (travellers) they can only find info in Mandarin, this would be great if they know there’s English guides available’.

‘Providing….like…intentional views….like introducing Taiwan’s customs and traditions to foreigners’.

‘This is a very great place, future…I think this is something I hope I can do in the future’.

Caroline and Neil from the UK shared that they’ve visited Taiwan multiple times since 2016. They spent some time in Taiwan every year for in-depth travel.

They’re very happy to know their work is appreciated by Taiwanese people on their way back to the UK/now they’re back in the UK.

They hope the world would know more about Taiwan and hope foreign travellers to know that Taiwan is safe and friendly.

They will keep on doing this.”
