Taiwan’s Online Arrival Card (twac.immigration.gov.tw) will need to be completed by most international visitors to Taiwan – it is easy to fill in online before you arrive or at the airport itself before Immigration.
We last visited Taiwan in early 2025 and completed the form on our phones at Taoyuan International Airport. It was very simple using Taiwan SIM Cards we had just bought – free Wi-Fi is available at the airport too.

And recently announced by the Taiwan National Immigration Agency, the paper Taiwan arrival card will be phased out totally by 1 October 2025, meaning you will have no choice but to complete the arrival card online which can be done up to 3 days before travel.
At present, paper arrival cards are also sometimes given out by airlines and there may be some paper cards at the airport (but we didn’t see any) – and these paper versions will stop totally by 30 September 2025.
Here is our Taiwanderers step-by-step guide to completing the 2025 Taiwan Online Arrival Card.

It only takes around 3 to 4 minutes (depending on your typing speed) – if you are doing it before you arrive, it might be quicker to do it on a desktop computer than on your phone.
Taiwanderers Tip – to save time, be sure to have your first full accommodation address ready for the form plus your flight details in and out of Taiwan.

What is the official website for the Taiwan online arrival card?
To complete the Taiwan online arrival card, the official Government / Taiwan National Immigration Agency website is here >
Before you start the form, be sure to select one of the 7 languages available at the top of the form including English, Japanese and traditional Chinese.

Completing the online arrival form at Taoyuan Airport
As mentioned, we complete our online arrival cards at Taoyuan Airport in the terminal itself – there are QR codes on display before immigration and they take you to the same page / arrival form as above.

We like the fact that the desks at Taipei Taoyuan Airport even have reading glasses to help those who have difficulty seeing their phones – they think of everything!
