Welcome to the ‘House of Mouse’ – yes, the world’s only official Disney themed 7-Eleven store can be found in Taipei, full of Mickey Mouse merchandise and Disney theming.

From cabinet displays of Disney merchandise to Mickey Mouse 7-Eleven cups, this is certainly one of the more wacky, weird and wonderful themed 7-Elevens in Taiwan.

Disney Mickey Mouse Themed 7-Eleven in Taipei, Taiwan

The Disney Mickey Mouse 7-Eleven joins a long list of cute 7-Eleven stores themed full of cartoon characters, but this is the only Mickey Mouse one that we know of. You’d be ‘Goofy’ to miss it!

From Mofusand to Hello Kitty stores, 7-Elevens in Taiwan are like no other 7-11s in the world. They have over 100 themed 7-Elevens including characters like Pokémon, Sumikko Gurashi, Ultraman plus Taiwan’s own Bugcat Capoo 7-Eleven.

Where is the Disney themed 7-Eleven in Taiwan?

There are over 7,000 7-Eleven convenience stores in Taiwan, and Taipei is home to the Mickey Mouse 7-Eleven.

It is located near to both the Songshan and Xinyi areas of Taipei, on Section 3, Bade Road.

The nearest MRT Station is Taipei Arena station on the green Songshan Xindian line. Take exit 2 from the station and the Mickey Mouse 7-Eleven is a 6 minute walk away.

Arriving at the the Mickey Mouse themed 7-Eleven

Let’s explore this cute 7-Eleven – the only convenience store in the world where it is OK to see a mouse (probably). The Mickey Mouse 7-11 is easy to spot as the usual 7-Eleven red, green and white branding is dispensed with.

The exterior has lots of retro style Mickey Mouse graphics with phrases like ‘Mousin’ Around’, ‘Keep It Real’ and ‘The Mouse Is Back’.

Look up at the ceiling panel outside the front entrance and you’ll also see two lit up silhouettes of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Mickey Mouse store tour

Of the comic character 7-Elevens we went to in Taipei, this one was easily the busiest but this might be because we went on a weekday lunchtime, and it was FULL of workers and students getting lunch-time meals. Or hey, they might be all mega enthusiast Disney fans but we think it’s the former.

As soon as you walk in, all you can see is Disney decals and Mickey Mouse graphics everywhere – literally no area is left untouched, from Mickey Mouse above the fridge cabinets to his name spelt out above the freezers.

Look up and you’ll see a huge 10 foot Mickey Mouse illuminated sign on the ceiling.

There are also lots of Kawaii cabinets of Disney Merchandise plus other comic characters like Sanrio, Marvel and Disney’s Winnie the Pooh too.

7-Eleven Themed Mickey Mouse Cafe and Coffee Cups

Some of the best Disney style touches in the the 7-Eleven Cafe seating area are the bows on the back of the chairs, and the tables have been hollowed out and filled full of cute Disney scenes plus merchandise.

Alas when we visited, the store was so full we couldn’t get a seat at any of the tables. We will try better next time we go!

Disney Mickey Mouse Themed 7-Eleven in Taipei, Taiwan - wooderful life

We’ve seen exclusive 7-Eleven themed cups in some of the other stores like the Mofusand 7-Eleven and Hello Kitty 7-Eleven, and the Mickey Mouse 7-Eleven is no different – so you can drink your macchiato or mocha with Mickey Mouse.

Sadly, we didn’t spot any exclusive snacks or merchandise in this particular store like we have in others.

Overall, this is one of the more average themed 7-Elevens in Taiwan but still worth a visit if you are in the area. The newer comic character 7-11s are done so much better and the tables and fittings here are looking a bit worn; more ‘dismal’ than ‘Disney’.

Still if you are a Mickey Mouse mega-fan (like Minnie!), don’t be a ‘Dumbo’ and head to Taiwan’s Disney 7-Eleven!
