Located in Taipei’s Zhongshan District, Ultraman 7-Eleven is one of Taiwan’s newest themed 7-Elevens (adding to many other themed 7-11s in Taipei including Hello Kitty, Snoopy, Mofusand and more). Amazingly, Taiwan has over 100 themed 7-Elevens with new ones popping up all the time!

Arriving at the Ultraman 7-Eleven store
The shop is not difficult to spot – the usual red, green and white branding of 7-Eleven is foregone with the whole store exterior covered in red Ultraman wraps and branding.
There are several life-size Ultra Hero Series / Ultra Collection characters depicted on the outside of this 7-Eleven.
It proves a popular photo spot and we saw several tourists and Ultraman fans doing selfies outside.
Below the windows, you can also see other Ultraman and Ultra Series characters and villains.

Inside Ultraman’s 7-Eleven lair
As you walk through the doors, you realize straight away this isn’t your typical Taiwan 7-Eleven – literally every wall, door and shelf is adorned with some form of Ultraman branding and theming – very cool.
In fact, even the 7-Eleven toilet here is themed with Ultraman comic characters – talk about attention to detail!
You can even see the Special Kaiju Reaction Detachment by the bins plus other Ultraman heroes and villains liberally sprinkled around the store.

Look Up – Ultraman is in the air
One of the best bits of Ultraman theming in this weird and wonderful 7-Eleven is the ceiling panels.
There is a HUGE Ultraman on the roof with Ultraman’s beam blades shooting out of his suit; a very neat touch with some nice blue LED strip lighting effects.
Another Ultraman can also be seen in the corner of the store with beam blades and rays of light emanating from the suit – very cool!

7-Eleven Ultraman coffee, cafe and seating area
This has to be one of the unique 7-Elevens in the world – the seating area and cafe is almost like an Ultraman museum as all the tables and chairs are themed with Ultraman characters. Plus there is plenty of merchandise to browse (more on this in a moment).
One of the neat things about this 7-Eleven store is that its currently the only 7-11 in the world where you can drink out of Ultraman branded coffee cups and drinks sleeves.
Coffees start from just NT$45 (around £1 / $1.40 USD) so are very good value.

Exclusive 7-11 Ultraman figure
One of the biggest draws to this special 7-Eleven store is that it has a world exclusive Ultraman character toy you can buy, as part of 7-Eleven’s Open Plaza character good range.
The Ultraman Flash gold version MEA-042 Superman Flash toy / figurine is exclusive to 7-Eleven and costs NT$349 (around £8.60 / $11 USD).

Who is Ultraman?
If you are into themed and character 7-Elevens but aren’t sure about Ultraman, Ultraman ( ウルトラマン) is a Japanese superhero created in the 1960s, the very first of many Ultra Heroes who help protect the earth from numerous villains.
Ultraman has been portrayed in many movies and animated / anime TV series, most recently in 2022’s Ultraman Shin – Ultraman’s latest starring role is in this very unique themed 7-Eleven in Taiwan!
7-Eleven Taiwan food and drink
Although the branding is all about Ultraman, you can still buy all your 7-Eleven Taiwan favorite foods and drinks and this store is particularly well stocked (it even has a decadent dessert fridge – yum!).
The fridges are full of ready meals, sandwiches and other convenient snacks and sweets to take away or eat onsite in the themed cafe and seating area. This 7-Eleven store also has a large dedicated vegetarian meal section.
